I had this idea one day while painting a canvas with my Sister In Law: Start a non profit organization that will allow women and men to share the stories of their scars on a blog. Allow another person to understand a trial they haven’t been through all because you are willing enough to become transparent and SHARE. I was amazed at how many people ran to me telling me their scars. It was incredible the feedback I received from people who were willing to share their scar to help others.
So as this website grows, you will be able to read the scars others have shared and be able to share your unique scar with the world. Whether it’s abuse, loss, injury, rape, debt, etc… ALL scars matter. No scar too big or too small. Soon you and many others can share your scars with the world. Share My Scar would like to reach out to you and have you touch the world.
